FTP is a protocol to send and receive files. All ephemeris data and maps are available as files, which can be downloaded individually rather than downloading the whole page.

Often an ftp "client" is used to handle this function, but web browsers can also be used.

Some browsers are not able to go to ftp directories for some mysterious reason. There are direct links to the files on each city's page. If you have ftp client software, you can access all of the files any time. Point it to ftp.visi.com/users/sirius and go to the "Lunaria" folder. You should be able to access individual files (maps and data) with your browser through the links. There are also links to individual files on each city's page.

  All of the astronomical data and maps are listed in the "Lunaria" folder. You may want to check out the "readme.txt" file when you get there, but it's pretty straightforward, I think.

  Give this link a try. It may be all you need to reach the ftp site.

If you get a "page not found" error, try hitting "Refresh/Reload".

Monthly maps of constellations have been discontinued due to lack of interest, and since weekly morning constellation maps are already provided.

Ephemeris data is now only available through ftp. The filenames are similar to the constellation map filenames. For example, franciscojup.txt is the ephemeris of Jupiter for San Francisco and orleansvenus.txt is the ephemeris of Venus for the New Orleans area.
